A 21-12 months-old lady has died just after the auto she was riding in hit a traffic signal pole in Dover Friday evening, according to the Dover Law enforcement Division. The driver, a 20-yr-old man, was not injured, but police stated they are evaluating him for a “possible medical affliction.”
The 20-12 months-outdated was heading east on Division Road to the intersection with Park Travel and NE Kings Highway in a 2019 Nissan Altima, according to law enforcement.
At 7:44 p.m., police explained the car crossed the middle line and hit a visitors island. The Altima then drove into a targeted visitors signal pole in the northeast corner of the intersection, according to police.
The passenger, Briyana Berry, was carrying a seatbelt but was killed in the crash. Police recognized her Monday.
