Motorcycle gang fight in Columbus leaves 1 in critical condition
COLUMBUS, Ohio — A 41-year-old man is in “extremely critical condition” and another person was wounded in a shooting during a fight between motorcycle gangs, according to reports.
Police tell WCMH Channel 4 that “several gangs” were involved in the fight early Sunday morning. The fight occurred during a party in a building at the intersection of East Fifth Avenue and Osborne Street, ABC 6 reports.
A 26-year-old man was wounded in the torso, but was expected to survive, reports say. The 41-year-old victim was driven by people at the party to New Albany Ohio Health Clinic, but was later transferred to Mount Carmel East Hospital, ABC 6 reports.
Police tell WCMH that the people who drove the victim to the hospital passed at least four other nearby hospitals before arriving at New Albany.
No one at the party would cooperate with police, according to reports. There are no reports of arrests.
