Rescue 1122 launches motorcycle ambulance service in Vehari

The District Emergency Service Rescue 1122 has started its motorcycle ambulance service in Vehari that will help ensure quick response in dealing with emergency situations.

Six motorcycle ambulances have been provided to the district under the new service, to enhance the emergency services for the citizens. The initiative was inaugurated by the Regional Rescue Officer Dr Rao Ejaz in a ceremony held on Sunday. During the inauguration, Dr Ejaz said, “Rescue 1122 was providing the best services for saving lives and property of the people in different incidents and emergency situations”.

Addressing the ceremony, District Emergency Officer Rescue 1122, Danish Khalil welcomed motorcycle ambulances in the rescue squad, saying that motorcycle ambulances would help improve performance and dealing emergencies in populated areas of the city.

Field station in Attock

Meanwhile, in Attock, a Rescue 1122 Field Station was also inaugurated by Provincial Minister for Social Welfare and Baitulmal, Syed Yawar Abbas Bukhari.

The new field station, established at Sheenbagh Attock, will have an ambulance and a fire tender, available for emergency situations round the clock. This station will facilitate the residents of Sheenbagh and surrounding areas along with the residents of village Ghora and Sojhanda.

The minister said that a similar field station will soon be established in village Bolianwal.
