Pagans motorcycle club national president arrested in N.J. for having a loaded gun, feds said

The national president of the Pagan’s Motorcycle Club was arrested Sunday in New Jersey for having an illegal gun, federal authorities announced Friday.

Keith Richter, known as “Conan,” was charged with one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He’s scheduled to appear virtually before U.S. Magistrate Judge Michael A. Hammer in U.S. District Court later Friday.

Richter, 62, attended a party in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, around noon on Feb. 20. According to a criminal complaint, law enforcement learned during the party that Richter had a gun.

The Bay Shore, New York, resident was a passenger in a GMC that left the party around 11 p.m. The vehicle was stopped by police in East Windsor in Mercer County around 1:30 a.m. Feb. 21. Police searched the vehicle and found a loaded Ruger P345 .45-caliber handgun underneath the cupholder of the center console, authorities said.

The wife of convicted drug lord Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzmán Loera was arrested at a suburban Washington, D.C. airport Monday, for her alleged role in the distribution of heroin, cocaine, methamphetamines and marijuana.

Emma Coronel Aispuro, 31, a dual U.S.-Mexican citizen who had been a fixture at her husband’s 2019 trial in Brooklyn, N.Y., is expected to make her first court appearance Tuesday in Washington.

Guzmán, a leader of Mexico’s Sinaloa narcotics cartel, was sentenced to life in prison following his trial.

Two motorcycle riders are arrested following dangerous high-speed pursuits | Inland Empire News

Two motorcycle riders were arrested following dangerous high-speed pursuits in the San Bernardino area on Feb. 10, according to the California Highway Patrol.

At about 3:27 p.m., a CHP officer observed four off-road motorcycles on Little Mountain Drive northbound from 27th Street. The officer initiated an enforcement stop but the motorcycles attempted to elude, and a pursuit ensued.

One rider of an off-road motorcycle being pursued pulled alongside the motor officer and attempted to kick the officer off his patrol motorcycle, the CHP said.

In an attempt to evade officers, the pursued motorcycle fled into the dirt wash. San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Helicopter 40K arrived overhead and directed CHP units to the location of the motorcycle. CHP units established a containment of the dirt wash area, and the unidentified rider, a 23-year-old San Bernardino man, was taken into custody without incident.

California crash leaves highway officer, tow truck driver injured; DUI suspect arrested: reports

A California Highway Patrol officer and a tow truck driver were both seriously injured in Southern California on Thursday morning when a suspected drunken driver reportedly caused a freeway crash.

According to authorities, the driver of a Nissan was speeding westbound on Interstate 10 near downtown Los Angeles around 10:30 a.m. when the vehicle hit the officer’s motorcycle, which was parked near the center median while the officer was helping clear an earlier crash.

“The motorcycle was then pushed into the officer, the officer was then pushed into the vehicles that were on the freeway,” CHP Officer Roberto Gomez said, according to FOX 11 in Los Angeles.

The suspected DUI driver’s vehicle also hit a disabled Toyota Prius that had been in the earlier crash and a tow truck driver was also struck by the motorcycle, the Los Angeles Times reported.
