Homeless woman and son accused of damaging motorcycle shop wall with fire | Rogersville

A 31-year-old homeless woman and her 16-year-old son were accused Monday morning of starting a fire up against a motorcycle shop on Marble Hall Road west of Rogersville.

A witness who reported the fire to the HCSO stated that he observed a fire on the side of the Wilson Motorcycle Shop at 614 Marble Hall Road, as well as a male and female walking away from the fire.

The witness said he went to the fire and raked burning wood away from the building while the male and female watched him.

The witness gave a description of the two suspects who were later located on Racetrack Road by Deputy Kyle Shively.

The suspects were identified as Michelle Lee Eldridge, 31, who is homeless, and her 16-year-old son.

Woman injured in crash north of Manhattan

MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – A woman riding a motorcycle was seriously injured in a three-vehicle collision Sunday afternoon just north of Manhattan, authorities said.

The crash was reported at 4:32 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of US-24 and K-13 highways. The location was about three miles north of Manhattan, just south of Tuttle Creek Lake.

The Kansas Highway Patrol said the crash occurred when a 2021 Toyota Sienna minivan that had been stopped at a stop sign at the intersection of US-24 and K-13 highways failed to yield the right of way to a 2018 Suzuki motorcycle and a 2014 Kawasaki motorcycle that were traveling west on US-24.

The Toyota drove into the intersection and was struck by both of the motorcycles, the patrol said.

The Toyota stopped in the intersection, while both motorcycles came to rest on their sides in the westbound lanes of US-24.

Woman Plunges To Death From 3rd-Level Parking Lot While Learning To Ride Motorcycle

A woman who was reportedly learning to ride a motorcycle lost control and fell to her death from the third-level parking lot of a California shopping center.

Police were called to Westfield Valencia Town Center in the 24000 block of Town Center Drive at around 5 p.m. Monday. Upon arrival, they found that the victim, believed to be in her 20s, had fallen from the mall’s third-level parking lot, KNBC reported

The woman was treated at the scene by the Los Angeles County Fire. She was later taken to a local hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.

Several people were allegedly teaching the woman how to ride a motorcycle when the incident took place. At one point, she lost control, veered into a wall and flew over the handlebar, the New York Post reported. The woman then plunged onto the ground below.

Kuala Lumpur – A video circulating online highlighting a mother’s unconditional love and sacrifices for her child has garnered sympathy among netizens.

TikTok user @zanethnasha posted a video of the mother she initially spotted at a petrol kiosk in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur.

The mother strapped her child on a carrier wrapped around her chest before getting on a motorcycle equipped with a Foodpanda delivery bag.

TikTok user @zanethnasha was moved to tears after witnessing the scene, noting the woman was bringing her child along while working.
