Two people have died and one was hurt in a three-motorcycle accident in Buena Vista County Friday, July 2nd.
The Iowa State Patrol says all three motorcycles were traveling west on C65 when the first vehicle, a 2020 Honda motorcycle driven by 39-year-old Luis Garcia Contreras, made a U-Turn into the path of another bike.
The second bike, a 2013 Honda driven by 28-year-old Phya Soe Aung of Storm Lake, struck the first Honda and then also struck a 2005 Yamaha motorcycle driven by 30-year-old Martin De Jesus Cruz of Storm Lake.
Both Phya Soe Aung and Martin De Jesus Cruz died as a result of the crash.
The Iowa State Patrol is still investigating the accident.
