Fatal crash involving motorcycle closes Lynn Road in Thousand Oaks
A fatal crash involving a motorcycle closed Lynn Road in Thousand Oaks Saturday night.
The incident was reported around 6:20 p.m. near the intersection of Lynn Road and East Kelley Road, according to Ventura County Sheriff’s officials.

The accident involved the motorcycle and a crossover SUV vehicle, said Deputy Wendell Campbell.
Deputies arrived to find the motorcyclist on the ground near the crash, according to the sheriff’s office.
The motorcycle rider, a 24-year-old man, was killed, Campbell said. The driver of the SUV had been transported to a local hospital.
The motorcycle was traveling eastbound on Lynn Road and collided with the other vehicle at the intersection of East Kelley Road, according to the initial investigation by the sheriff’s office.
The identity of the deceased is pending notification of next of kin by the Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The Lynn Road was closed for several hours as traffic investigators worked the scene.
