LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — A group assaulted a teenager at his home in South Riding on Saturday afternoon, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities said the incident may be connected to another assault that occurred on Friday night.
Saturday’s assault occurred around 4 p.m. at a victim’s home on Scarlett Square. The victim, who police only identified as a teenager, said a group of people confronted and assaulted him. One suspect had a gun in his waistband, authorities said.
The teenage victim’s parents intervened and stopped the assault, police said. The group of suspects then fled the area. The sheriff’s office reported that several of the suspects had visited the home earlier that afternoon.

Three victims reported minor injuries in the assault, the sheriff’s office said. Authorities did not specify the identities of the victims.
The sheriff’s office believes that Saturday’s assault is related to another assault involving teenagers that occurred on Friday night. Some of the teenagers involved in the assaults knew each, according to the police report. The sheriff’s office is still working to identify everyone involved.
