Indystar.com is now taking nominations for the I AM SPORT Award for the Indiana High School Sports Awards show, which will be back as a live event on June 5 at Clowes Memorial Hall at Butler University.
The I AM SPORT Award is brought to you by Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
The I AM SPORT Award recognizes a student-athlete who goes above and beyond in their communities through volunteerism and community service. This award is meant to honor and celebrate those student-athletes who not only put in the time on the field, but off the field as well to make their communities a better place to live.
Anyone can nominate someone for consideration for this award. To do so, email Todd Adams at [email protected] and include details about the athlete’s sports career and community service or volunteerism. Nomination deadline is May 17.
The I AM SPORT winner will be recognized during the live show. Tickets can be purchased here.
