Motorcycle ride fundraises for injured Phoenix Officer Tyler Moldovan

Hundreds of bikers gathered Saturday morning at American Legion Post 61 in Avondale for a motorcycle ride around the Valley to raise money for the family of Phoenix Police Officer Tyler Moldovan, who was shot multiple times during an early morning police investigation in December.

The motorcycle ride began at the post near Dysart Road and Western Avenue around 10 a.m.

“We actually had a huge turnout. We had originally, just from this post, 251 riders but other riders joined from separate posts. So there was well over 300 riders that came out,” said Jason Emm, president of American Legion Post 61.

1 killed, 1 injured in Morristown motorcycle crash

A group of motorcycle riders was traveling eastbound on State Route 74 when two collided, according to DPS.

ARIZONA, USA — One person was killed and another was seriously injured during a motorcycle crash near Morristown on Saturday night. 

According to the Department of Public Safety, a group of motorcycle riders was going eastbound on State Route 74 when one attempted a pass and hit another. 

Both of the riders were thrown from their bikes and neither were wearing a helmet, DPS said. 

The cause of the crash is under investigation.

Reckless motorcycle riders leave injured companion on scene of Meriden crash, police say | Connecticut News

MERIDEN, CT (WFSB) – A group of motorcycle riders who police said were recklessly riding down a street in Meriden fled the scene of a crash that left one of them with serious injuries.

Police said the crash happened on Broad Street Wednesday around 10 p.m.

Daivon Amar Rosa, 22, of Meriden, was seriously hurt when his motorcycle crashed into the front end of a Jeep Wrangler.

Ahead of the crash, police said a group of four motorcyclists traveled south on Broad Street at a high rate of speed. The riders were said to have been performing stunts in the road.

Only one of the bikes had a working headline, police said.

Rosa was said to have performed a wheelie when he struck the Wrangler, the driver of which was trying to negotiate a turn into the Shell Gas Station at 934 Broad St.

Gun battle between motorcycle gangs on Interstate 4 leaves 1 dead, 1 injured

Two people on motorcycles were shot on Interstate 4 early Friday during a gun battle between members of two motorcycle gangs, Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said.

A woman who was riding on the back of one motorcycle was shot in the head and thrown from the bike, Judd said. She died Friday, the Sheriff’s office announced Saturday.

A second motorcyclist was shot in the back.

The incident occurred just after midnight in the eastbound lanes of I-4 just west of U.S. 27. Judd said 38-year-old Ronald Donovan was driving a motorcycle and that his 33-year-old girlfriend was riding with him.

Judd said Donovan is in the motorcycle gang Sin City Deciples. A member of another motorcycle gang, the Thug Riders, passed him and Donovan fired and hit the man, who is 36, in the back.
