CLEVELAND — One person was killed and another person was injured after a motorcycle crash on Cleveland’s East Side Friday, according to the Cleveland Division of Police.
EMS crews and police responded at approximately 2:20 a.m. to East 139th Street and Miles Road for a crash.
The motorcycle driver, identified as a 37-year-old man, was making a left turn at East 139th Street when it struck a curb and ejected a 34-year-old female passenger onto the road.
The driver and the motorcycle continued down the road before it struck a pole near Miles Avenue and East 139th Street.
A 34-year-old female was transported to University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center in serious condition with several abrasions, police said.
The 37-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
