Karol Rosa takes on Joselyne Edwards in a bantamweight showdown at UFC Vegas 18
Karol Rosa made her UFC debut with a split decision win against Lara Procopio in August 2019. She secured a unanimous decision win in her second fight in the promotion at UFC 251. She is currently riding a four-fight win streak and will aim to keep that going this weekend.
Joselyne Edwards made her UFC debut last month on Fight Island. She secured a unanimous decision win over Yanan Wu. She is currently on a two-fight win streak and will also be aiming to keep it going this weekend.
Rosa has secured 54% of her wins via decision and 31% via T/KO. She has landed an impressive 11.4 significant strikes per minute with an accuracy of 48% in her UFC career. However, she has also absorbed 11 significant strikes per minute which can spell her downfall this weekend.
‘La Pantera’ has landed an impressive 5.87 significant strikes per minute. In return, she has absorbed just 3.87 significant strikes per minute in her only UFC fight. Ahead of her UFC Apex debut, ‘La Pantera’ will have a 2.5-inch reach advantage, which is sure to serve her well. The fight will be decided on the ground and given her recent performances and record, Edwards should be able to secure a win this weekend.
