You have to see this to believe it…

It’s always amazing to go to a museum and see consecutive years of old motorcycles or really any vehicle. You can study the small differences in production methods as the manufacturer figured evolved its craftsmanship, which is just fascinating. Well, now you have a chance to buy part of a massive Harley-Davidson motorcycle collection which includes one from every model year starting with 1910 to 1969. Each bike has been exceptionally restored so the new owners can display them with pride. This collection is amazing enough to make attending the auction just to gawk at all these vintage motorcycles worth the trip, let alone the possibility of owning one or more.

Kawasaki files patent for electric supercharger on a hybrid motorcycle

Kawasaki’s been working on an electric motorcycle for at least a decade. The Japanese bike maker showed a two-wheeled electric concept at the EICMA show in Milan in 2019, but its specs seemed more suited to a scooter or moped. The e-motor in that show bike spun a continuous 13.5 horsepower and peaked at 27 hp. A flurry of patent applications over the two years have put words to Kawasaki intentions for a hybrid motorcycle as well, and it seems that hybrid might get forced induction. just discovered a patent for an electric supercharger that would run off the electric portion of the powertrain.

RGNT’s 77 mph electric motorcycle takes orders with classic retro styling

RGNT Motorcycles has developed one of the classier-looking retro-inspired electric motorcycles we’ve seen to date. After a few years of developments, now updated versions of the Swedish company’s bikes are finally available for order.

The RGNT No.1 electric motorcycle has been in the works since I began covering the company in 2019.

In fact, back then I first stumbled upon the design and fell in love with everything about the retro styling – or at least everything except the boxy battery. The company quickly responded to my comments with an updated battery design, then made good on the renderings when they unveiled the production version of the bike in 2020.

Now the company has updated the bike for Generation 1.5 and is sharing the new upgrades while simultaneously opening orders for the updated rides.
